Grovesound Bio

Based in Wilmington, North Carolina, Grovesound is an acoustic duo with bass guitarist (Ricky Groves) and Guitar/Mandolin player (Neil Horne). With an eclectic sound and a fresh take on syncopation and style, their wide range of covers and tasteful originals embody the feeling of the past fused together with today’s cutting edge. Grovesound has a unique, full sound that's easy on the ears, pulls at your heart strings one moment and has you tapping your foot to a catchy beat the next. It's been said that all of their covers are re-constructed to fit acoustic music even though a lot of the music has electric roots.
